Residence Lammia
An intimate and minimalist holiday home, blending modern and antique elements, is more than just a stay: it is an authentic experience. It reflects simplicity and elegance, highlighting materials, design, and atmospheres that unite past and present.
The project
Between light and silence
Lammia was conceived as an essential, intimate, and silent space, where architecture, light, and material exist in continuous balance.
The project interprets contemporary living as a sensory and contemplative experience, expressed through pure volumes, tactile surfaces, and a constant pursuit of formal simplicity.
Natural light becomes both a spiritual and architectural element: it moves through the spaces, defines geometries, and transforms the atmosphere throughout the day, creating suspended and meditative environments. The architectural silence, the proportion of volumes, and the relationship between solids and voids evoke an introspective, almost ritual dimension.
The spaces unfold fluidly, encouraging a slow and harmonious perception of living, where interior and exterior connect through transparency, openings, and visual continuity. Materials — stone, wood, metal, and neutral surfaces — are used in their authenticity, allowing the value of time, light, and natural imperfection to emerge.
Lammia thus becomes a place of balance and contemplation, where architecture transcends function and approaches a deeper dimension: a space capable of generating presence, calm, and inner connection.
